The Contractors band has performed all around the ArkLaTex area sharing their love of traditional country music. original songs, and popular classic hits. They bring years of musical experience as session musicians, singer/songwriters, and educators. They have opened for and played with Grammy award winning artist, J0-EL Sonnier many times. They also opened for Grammy nominated Dave Alexander and his Western Swing Band.

The Contractors are excited about our show at the new Texas Country Music Association Event Center in Carthage on Friday, September 10th. Joining us will be special guest Grammy Award Winner-Jo-EL Sonnier. The Contractors will be playing at the Texas State Railroad Park on September 11, 2021 for a special 20th anniversary remembrance show with special guest, Grammy award winning singer/songwriter JO-EL Sonnier.

**"WE'VE CONTRACTED THE BLUES" The Contractors have a new original blues album that has just come out. These original songs are part of a special project with the NPR for New York City. We are fusing our Texas country sounds with Latin beats and blues to create a "Texas Fusion." Our "Unaffordable Pleasure" album of Latin sounds will follow.

Timothy Simpson was not only a founding member of The Contractors Band and an amazing bass player ; he was a beloved friend to each of us. His music brought much joy to him, the band, and the audiences over the years. His passing came all too soon and he will be missed by everyone he touched.
