CITY LIMITS

In the fall of 2022, four seasoned musicians met in a rehearsal room in

Winnsboro, TX for the first time, and quickly understood they were onto

something special. Their similar performing backgrounds, tastes in music,

and mutual desire for excellence helped make them fast friends, and laid

the foundation for City Limits. Quickly realizing their love of variety, they

set about building a repertoire songs from Merle Haggard to Fleetwood

Mac, the Bee Gees to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and a whole lot in

between.

The four-piece group of Kristy and Jame Hargus, Woodie Thornton and

Dick Chapman, brings decades of performing experience into every show.

Drawing on diverse performing backgrounds including studio session

work, playing in Ray Price’s touring band, opening for top-tier stars like

George Jones, Ronnie Milsap, and Eddy Raven - City Limits understands

what it takes to please both the crowd and the venue, large or small.

Though still relatively new to the East Texas music scene, City Limits has

been welcomed for repeat dates by venues across the region, attesting to
